FOCUS: CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, ST. PETERSBURG. We sponsor cardiac surgery for newborns with serious congenital heart defects. Most of these infants will die without surgery.

RESULTS: 2,000 LIVES SAVED; KEPT HOSPITAL OPEN IN 1998. We have saved more than 2,000 lives. After the 1998 ruble crash, we increased surgeries, and were the only source of support for the entire 600-bed children’s hospital for a month.

INTANGIBLES: BUILDING PEACE BETWEEN ENEMIES. Families from Chechnya, Central Asia, Siberia, Tbilisi, Germany, and China have a child alive today thanks to American surgical supplies.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Donations go 100% to the hospital. Our board pays all administrative overhead.
Tax exempt #54-1869946. No one gets paid, not even our president, a Harvard MBA who speaks Russian.
